This week has been quite productive, as I have been using my one-word to get back on track and get my grades where I'd like them to be. I have used willpower to stay focused on my studying in biology, and also to stick to the reading schedule for English class, to make sure that I can get good grades on the quizzes and be on track for the website that will be due presently. I can't wait to keep striving and achieving my academic goals.
A new week brings new obstacles that keep me from reaching my goal of getting all A's. A couple of turning-point assignments have slipped through my fingers and now I am bordering on falling in English Class as well as BIology. All of this week I have been using my one-word to get assignments done and on time. I may be able to save myself in English with the upcoming Animal Farm website, so long as I use my willpower to stay focused and get everything done.
This weekend will require me to use my one-word quite a bit in order to accomplish my goal of getting all A's for every marking period. I will need to get an A on my Biology quiz as well as continue to turn in all of the assignments that I get. I will use willpower to keep me focused and to do my best work so that I can get my grade back to an A and achieve my goal.
This week I have used my one word to help me stay awake and focused. I have had some rough nights of sleep and now my schedule is all off. I have been fighting off drowsiness all week, but I have been ale to use my willpower to stay awake and focused. I will continue to use my word on the English paper and my Stargirl webpages as well, as those projects will be able to change my grades for the better or for worse.
I missed last week's post, but I am back on top of things! I have used my one word- willpower- to help me focus and apply myself to my band festival performance. We had to work very hard and play the best that we ever have in order to receive the highest scores possible. I also plan on using my willpower to continue to keep my grades up as the end of the year is approaching, where grades mean everything and I am going to have to stay on task and study hard.
This week has been quite a bit easier on me in terms of school and home stress. The assignments we've had recently have been a breeze for me, and I have had a chance to play some video games and decompress. However, because I play with my friends online, there are occasionally some harsh words thrown around, and in those situations I have to use willpower in order to not get into huge fights over nothing.
Things have slowed down a bit in terms of assignments, as the snow day make-up time has nearly drawn to a close. I have completed many of the big assignments that I have received recently, and I am overall quite happy with my scores. I currently have a 4.0, and my goal for this semester is to keep it there in order to raise my overall GPA to somewhere around 3.6-3.8. In order to accomplish this, I will use my willpower to get my assignments done on time, and to get them done with the highest quality.
The work on the book website page for Lord of the Flies continues, and as it does, so does the need for me to use willpower to stay focused and on-task. The project in English revolving around the book has also made it quite difficult on me, as I am more often than not the person in the group that ends up doing all of the hard parts. I will continue to use my willpower to power through the influx of assignments and I will work hard to get all of them completed on time and to the best of my abilities.
This week I have been practicing willpower with the latest in the long line of never-ending book website pages. I have to use willpower to stay on task and fill out each section of the PICTURE method notes, as well as all of the other requirements for the web pages.
This post is late, but I wanted to make sure that it was on here. Because exams are now over, the overall difficulty of the assignments and projects has gone down drastically, so I have been using my word a little bit less than usual. However, I have still been using it, mostly at home. We have been helping my brother out, who has been having some tough times and I have had to use my willpower to help him get through his tough situation by spending time and helping him move things, and whatnot.
