This week has been quite a bit easier on me in terms of school and home stress. The assignments we've had recently have been a breeze for me, and I have had a chance to play some video games and decompress. However, because I play with my friends online, there are occasionally some harsh words thrown around, and in those situations I have to use willpower in order to not get into huge fights over nothing.
Things have slowed down a bit in terms of assignments, as the snow day make-up time has nearly drawn to a close. I have completed many of the big assignments that I have received recently, and I am overall quite happy with my scores. I currently have a 4.0, and my goal for this semester is to keep it there in order to raise my overall GPA to somewhere around 3.6-3.8. In order to accomplish this, I will use my willpower to get my assignments done on time, and to get them done with the highest quality.
The work on the book website page for Lord of the Flies continues, and as it does, so does the need for me to use willpower to stay focused and on-task. The project in English revolving around the book has also made it quite difficult on me, as I am more often than not the person in the group that ends up doing all of the hard parts. I will continue to use my willpower to power through the influx of assignments and I will work hard to get all of them completed on time and to the best of my abilities.
This week I have been practicing willpower with the latest in the long line of never-ending book website pages. I have to use willpower to stay on task and fill out each section of the PICTURE method notes, as well as all of the other requirements for the web pages.
This post is late, but I wanted to make sure that it was on here. Because exams are now over, the overall difficulty of the assignments and projects has gone down drastically, so I have been using my word a little bit less than usual. However, I have still been using it, mostly at home. We have been helping my brother out, who has been having some tough times and I have had to use my willpower to help him get through his tough situation by spending time and helping him move things, and whatnot.
